The contest is open to all MCPSS students and will be divided into two categories (DIGITAL and TRADITIONAL) and two separate divisions: Elementary (K-5) and Secondary (6-12).

Participants will hand-create (pencil, crayon, paint, marker, etc.) an original design using any theme they wish.

Participants will create an original design using software (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, etc.) using any theme they wish.

- Submit digital entries via the MCPSS Film Festival Poster Contest Google Form.

Official submissions should be turned in to the participants' schools' art teachers. If the school does not have an art teacher, students may submit to the teacher promoting the Film Festival or their classroom teacher.

The winners of each category and division will have their posters used for advertising the 2026 MCPSS Film Festival. This means each school in MCPSS will receive a copy of the applicable winners' posters. Winners will also be recognized at the Film Festival ceremony.
